POSITION: Utility Resources Director
The City of Orange City is seeking a highly skilled and qualified individual to lead our Utilities Division of the City of Orange City Public Services Department under the direction of the Public Services Director. The Utilities Resources Director ensures the operation of the City’s complete potable water system, sewer collection, and reclaimed water through the application of professional engineering standards, scientific principles, and technological application. The desired candidate will have the abilities, knowledge, skills to lead, develop, and expand a broad range of municipal utilities projects. The City of Orange City has an intimate working environment that will allow the selected Utilities Resources Director to have a hands-on approach to the operations of the Utilities Division.
The City of Orange City, founded in 1886, is approximately eight square miles and serves approximately 13,000 residents. The City of Orange City Utilities Division has serves the citizens of Orange City through operations water/wastewater/reclaimed operations, water treatment plants, sewer, and pollution control to residential and commercial properties, including utility engineering planning and inspecting projects.

HIRING RANGE: $78,860 to $127,429; depending on qualifications
POSITION SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday, 7:00AM – 4:00PM
Monday – Thursday 7:00AM – 5:00 PM, Friday 8AM – 5PM
With every other Friday off
