Orange City Police Department Women’s Self-Defense Class “All Means Necessary”
The Orange City Police Department is reinstituting its self-defense class for women. This women’s self-defense class is designed to provide women with personal safety information and an introduction to the physical aspects of self-defense. The class is 2-hours and teaches self-defense, awareness, risk reduction and avoiding confrontation. The program is taught by Orange City Police Department Defensive Tactics Coordinator Sergeant Rolly Cavida.
O.C.P.D. Women’s Self-Defense Classes are two (2) hours long and class size is limited to 25 participants. Classes are only open to women. Participants must be at least 18 years of age. There is no charge to attend. This is a public event and photos will be taken during the class.
Register for classes by contacting Sergeant Rolly Cavida at [email protected] or 386-851-7561.
Upcoming Classes:
Due to the impact of the recent hurricane, which caused significant damage to the police department, the classes have been temporarily suspended. We are hopeful to resume them by the end of 2025. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
