Message from the Chief

Since 2015 it has been my privilege to serve this beautiful community of Orange City. I am committed to building and maintaining public trust while partnering with the community to keep Orange City a safer place to live, work, play, and visit. Orange City is a unique community with a rich history in culture, family, work ethic, and community.

The mission of the Orange City Police Department is to reduce crime and to protect and serve all citizens with professionalism, honor, integrity and respect. My role in realizing this mission is to serve as a leader that exemplifies the moral principles and professional excellence I swore to uphold when I became a police officer 39 years ago.

The officers of the Orange City Police Department are committed to going beyond just responding to calls for service. We want to engage our community in a variety of ways and create partnerships with all our residents to provide the best law enforcement service possible, for a safer community for all to enjoy.

We strive for proficiency, transparency and accountability at all levels and to earn and keep your trust by practicing procedural justice with proactive, fair and impartial policing. We are proud of our history and our tradition of excellence. We are dedicated to the philosophy of community policing and know that building strong relationships improves the lives of those we commit to serve.

It is an honor and privilege to serve. I am fortunate to work with a caring, well-trained, and enthusiastic team of extra ordinary men and women, sworn and civilian, who have made a commitment to serve the outstanding residents and visitors of Orange City. Without their hard work, our goals would not be attainable. We appreciate your ongoing support.
