This Senior Center facility is a multi-purpose facility constructed in 2002 with funds donated by the late Wava Lindstrom to serve the City’s senior residents. Orange City has contracted with Council on Aging to offer programming activities to help meet the social, recreational, informational, and wellness needs of older adults.
Wava Hall provides daily activities and congregate dining to our valued senior population 60 years or older in support of our mission to enrich the lives of our most vulnerable elderly citizens by providing needed services that allow them to remain safely, comfortably, and with dignity in their own homes.
Operating Hours are from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Orange City residents are encouraged to visit the center in person to see the action for themselves and request membership information. Many activities are FREE to members.
Wava Hall is available for evening and weekend rentals for the community from 4PM-10PM. Maximum occupancy 89. Room can be divided. A commercial refrigerator is available along with a sink. No phone available after hours. For rental reservations you would go to City Hall.
