City of Orange City seeking one (1) member for the City’s Historic Preservation Board

The City of Orange City is currently looking for one (1) individual interested in serving on the City’s Historic Preservation Board for the remainder of a three-year term to expire on July 26, 2024 (with an opportunity to be reappointed). Individuals appointed to this board serve in a volunteer capacity as a Historic Preservation Board member.  The Board serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council regarding preservation efforts that impact the City.  The Board has final authority to take action on permit applications that alter historic structures. Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:00p.m., in the City Council Chambers located at 201 North Holly Avenue.
