Fire Hydrant Testing will begin Monday, 11/29/2021, in the southeast quadrant (east of 17-92 and south of Graves.)
Signboards will be placed in the general area.
Fire hydrant testing will then begin in the northeast part of the city (east of 17-92 and north of Graves). That is expected to begin Wednesday or Thursday.
Water users may experience reduced water pressure and/or discoloration. Residents should also avoid the use of their washer and dishwasher during this time to prevent possible staining of clothes and dishes. While your water will be safe for consumption, should you notice any discoloration of your water, we recommend that you run your household faucets (starting with your outside spigot) for several minutes. This should help clear up any discoloration and result in the water running clear.
